Plotting a saved squiggled drawing to scale
using another CAD application
Squiggle allows you to save your drawing back
as a DWG or DXF file and open it back in your
original CAD application. The new drawing file
is saved in modelspace using the screen coordinates
of the squiggled output. This causes problems
when you later try to scale the drawing using
your original CAD application. Follow these steps
to plot your saved drawing to scale using your
original CAD application. In this example we use
AutoCAD 2006, but you should be able to use other
CAD applications in a similiar fashion.
- Open your original CAD drawing (see
Figure 1).
