Creating an HPGL or HPGL/2 plot file to use with Squiggle

  1. Select the Plot option from the File menu. When the Plot dialog box appears (see Figure 3), select an HPGL or HPGL/2 print driver. In this case, we choose the HP DesignJet 750C plotter driver, but any HPGL or HPGL/2 print driver should do.

    NOTE: To see how to add an HPGL or HPGL/2 print driver to your system, look at Adding an HPGL or HPGL/2 Print Driver.

  2. Select the Plot to file option.

  3. Any other changes you make to your print setup will effect the resulting plot file. In this example, we chose the scale to Fit to paper and used the Grayscale plot style table.

    NOTE: If you plot file appears upside down when you open it in Squiggle, you'll want set your plot settings to Plot upside-down.
