What is Purchase and Download?

Purchase and Download means that SignatureCAD Online Store customers can choose to purchase the download version of SignatureCAD products, which allows you to download the product and start using it right away.

How does Purchase and Download work?

1. From the SignatureCAD Online Store, select the Buy button for the product you wish to purchase.
   
   
2. When asked to select a delivery method of purchase, choose the "Download" option.
   
   Note: Not available for all products.
   
   
3. Continue through the purchasing process and complete the online sale.
   
   
4. If your credit card information is accepted, you'll receive an email containing the information you need to download your software.

How do I download the software?

1. Shortly after completing the online sale, you'll receive an email with the website information necessary for downloading your product.
   
   
2. Click on the URL link or copy/paste this information to your web browser to open the product download page.
   
   
3. Follow the instructions listed on the product download page to complete the software download.

How do I install the program?

1. Close any other applications that are running.
   
   
2. Insert the Squiggle 6 CD into your CD drive.
   
   The setup program should launch automatically, displaying the Squiggle 6 navigation window.
   
   If the setup program does not launch automatically, use Windows Explorer to browse to the CD, then open the file named Setup.exe.
   
   
3. Click the button that installs Squiggle 6.
   
   The Welcome dialog box appears.
   
   
4. Click the Next button. The License Agreement dialog box appears.
   
   
5. Read the license terms and mark the I accept the License Agreement option. If you do not accept the license agreement, you cannot continue the installation.
   
   
6. Click the Next button. Review the Squiggle 6 ReadMe file for up-to-date information about the version you are installing.
   
   
7. Click the Next button. The User Information dialog box appears.
   
   
8. In the User Information dialog box, enter the following fields:
   
   Full Name. Enter your first and last names.
   Organization. Enter your company name.
   Product ID. Enter 000-0000000 or leave blank.
   
   NOTE: The Product ID field only accepts numeric characters and therefore doesn't allow your product ID to be entered at this point (see How do I activate the software shown below for more information on entering Product ID).
   
   
9. Click the Next button. The Program Destination dialog box appears. Select a destination folder for Squiggle 6 or use the default destination.
   
   
10. Click the Next button. The Start Installation dialog box appears, which provides a last chance to go back and change any of the information you have entered so far.
    
    
11. Click the Next button to install Squiggle 6.
    
    When installation begins, the Updating System dialog box opens and shows you the progress as files are copied. When the process is complete, another dialog box will tell you that Squiggle has been installed successfully.
    
    
12. Click the Finish button to complete the installation.

How do I get my Product ID needed to activate the program?

Once your order has been processed, a Product ID will be sent to you via email within 24 hours.

How do I activate the software?

After installing the product:

1. Start the program by double-clicking the program icon or using the Windows Start menu.
   
2. When the Product Activation dialog box appears, it should list the number of days left before you need to activate the program. Select the Activate the product option and click Next.
   
3. In the User Information dialog box, enter the following fields:
   
   Full Name. Enter your first and last names.
   Organization. Enter your company name.
   Product ID. Enter the Product ID found on the CD sleeve or sent to you by the SignatureCAD support staff.
   
4. Click the Finish button to complete the activation.
