Pleasanton, CA - February 1, 2006
-- SignatureCAD announces the release of Squiggle
6, the CAD presentation software used by thousands
of architects and designers worldwide. Squiggle
now supports AutoCAD 2006 and earlier drawings,
can be installed on Microsoft Windows XP/2000/NT/Me/98
and contains a number of new features and enhancements.
The new version of Squiggle is available for the
retail price of $179.00.
While computer generated drawings certainly have
their place, in many applications, such as architectural
and industrial design, a stylized illustration
is often more effective. The advantages of illustration
are numerous. Illustrations can convey information
better by omitting extraneous detail, by focusing
attention on relevant features, by clarifying
and simplifying shapes or by exposing parts that
are hidden. Squiggle transforms your CAD drawings
into hand-drawn illustrations, adding style and
emphasis to presentations, brochures and other
promotional materials.
Enhancements include increased drawing support
and added printing features. Users can save squiggled
drawings as high-resolution images and a number
of different vector formats, including Adobe PDF.
With the new Squiggle control panel, the program
is streamlined to make work faster and easier
than ever before.
